Совет ЕС отложил рассмотрение вопроса о санкциях против России. Об этом сообщает Reuters. «Они решили посмотреть, как дальше будут развиваться события, так как пока картина не ясна. Но между тем идет активная подготовка к санкциям», — приводит агентство слова одного из европейских дипломатов.

На заседании представители 28 стран-участниц пришли к выводу, что Россия частично выполнила требования Брюсселя по Украине.

Они были сформулированы на саммите 27 июня. Во время встречи на высшем уровне также решено ввести санкции против России в случае, если она не выполнит ряд требований Брюсселя.

Москва выполнила два из четырех требований. В частности, обеспечила освобождение заложников, включая наблюдателей ОБСЕ, а также была задействована в переговорах на высшем уровне по урегулированию ситуации. Кроме того, ЕС ожидает, что Россия создаст «механизм мониторинга за режимом прекращения огня», а также вернет правительственным силам пограничные КПП Изварино, Должанский, Красный Партизан.
