Элликот-Сити в штате Мэриленд затопило из-за сильных дождей. Губернатор Ларри Хоган объявил о введении режима ЧС. Национальная метеорологическая служба США назвала ситуацию "крайне опасной и потенциально катастрофической".
На опубликованной видеозаписи видно, что мощные потоки грязной воды с большой скоростью несутся по улицам города, доходя до середины первых этажей и выше.
Жителям рекомендуют немедленно перебраться на возвышенности и оставаться подальше от воды.
